Longdorham Old English Sheepdogs
My Love affair with OES began in the early 1970, when I had my first puppy from the famous Florence Tilley (Shepton). I was very lucky to have chosen Champion Folly Foot of Shepton and Longdorham. Folly became top bitch in 1975/1976 and bred me some fabulous puppies , Champion Longdorham Sheep’s Folly ,Champion Longdorham Clowns Folly , Australian Champion Longdorham Folly’s Shepherdess ,World Champion Longdorham Folly by George from her first litter . Another of her offspring was Champion Longdorham Folly Footsteps, these name a few of my many winners.
My judging carer started when I was only 16 with Pyrenean Mountain Dogs , I believe I was one of the youngest people to award Challenge Certificates in the OES at only 28. I have awarded CC in the breed 14 times including CRUFTS.
At present I am not showing my last home bred Champion, Multi INT Champion Longdorham Follow the Dream JW SH CM I went to the continent with him and he gained 6 titles , French, Netherlands Belgium ,and Polish also Irish and of course English.
Buster is now in retirement and spends his time in the office with me each day , Walking with him his companion Fallow the Deerhound
I am the Secretary of Bournemouth Championship Show with 1950 classes, General Championship Show held in August each year..
This year I have joined the Committee of the South Western OES Club.
It is a great honour to have been asked to be the Co judge with Mrs Kim Reeves at this prestigious Show. And I thank the Bobtail Club of Hungary for the invitation which is very much appreciated.
I am looking forward to judging the dogs and meeting the owner’s handlers.
